Conspiracy in a Call Centre

HOW THE FILM BEGINS.

A great modern conspiracy does not require bunkers, cigarette-smoked parking garages or manila folders stamped classified.

It requires a call centre dashboard, a bereavement script, a stolen referral tag and several bored, clever people using corporate language to make a crime look like a banking workflow.

Dead Man Days begins where modern dread lives: inside ordinary systems already organised around access, authorisation, escalation and control.

The scam is not from outside. It is born in a professional environment that already knows how to process grief into waiting times, call notes, permissions and outcomes.

That is what makes the origin cinematic rather than merely clever. This is not occult knowledge. It is admin pushed so far, the language begins to govern the dead.

It shouldn’t have happened, of course. But terrible ideas rarely announce themselves as evil. They arrive as efficiency.

They arrive as a feature request.
